Never ask a woman if her teeth are real. Or any other part.

Just get her on a trampoline , you soon find out what's real..........I mean the teeth will come loose

I keep a set of super "cheap' one-use rain gear under the driver seat of my vehicle. Can be worn, of course; or can serve as a work area on a muddy road or shoulder. I suppose it might even serve as a fire-start, in a pinch?

Its been surprisingly useful when caught out with a heavy summer shower. Actually I keep a back up bag in my boot (trunk). We should suggest items to include. I will start, with a short jemmy, maybe 12" worth.

My Leatherman and camera are always on my belt and in my pocket. My BOB (bug out bag) also contains a FULL first aid kit.
I now, also, have a pair of socks and underwear in there. I learned that one the hard way.
Yes, water. Energy snacks and chewing gum.
There is a lot more in there. I can give a full list, if interested.

Pops, I keep a medium sized back pack in my car at all times. I use a back pack in case I have to leave the vehicle and walk. It contains the basics, small med pack, flashlight and spr batteries, compass, zip ties, duck tape, small radio, couple of reflective emergency blankets, small multi tool, some light wands (The type you bend to work), some bright 550 cord, fire starting kit, can of tyre inflating stuff, spr socks (Ex motorcyclist here), small amount of cash, good whistle etc etc. If I think of extras I add them, but try to keep it relatively small and light. Outside the pack I try to keep fresh water on hand. Food isn't such an issue, rule of three and all that. When I take a different vehicle I simply throw the bag in the back.
I dont think its being over cautious. Several times I have had to abandon vehicles, sat in them freezing my **** off, or sweating the pounds away. Most dont realise just how bad vehicles are at keeping the heat in. They dont. The best they offer is a wind break. Just turn off the vehicle heater on a cold windy winters day. You will feel the temperature drop in minutes.

In Minnesota it is necessary to keep a shovel in the car during the winter months. I always make sure the cell phone is charged before heading out in the car, but if the weather is bad I don't bother to leave the house anymore. Due to the 'damsel in distress' phenomena, I make sure I'm armed in the car and have spare rounds in case I have car trouble (it is legal for permit holders to carry in the car in MN, some states require firearms to be cased within the vehicle).

I always carry extra toilet paper with me when I go to a ball game, you never know. One thing I have learned is if you are not prepared for something to happen, is it WILL happen. I usually carry a spoon with me to practice, yesterday I didn't, and then I had to borrow one.

Toilet paper to a ball game? To dry your tears?

If a food date label reads "Best by 09/2010"........ Believe it.

Food labels are interesting. Many miss the difference between 'best before' and 'consume by'.

True. It's a 'should' or 'shall' statement.
The item, a tin of stew, was surprisingly devoid of flavour. However, I suffered no ill effects. Good to know.
