But it does.
Someone will ask a question on a forum.
"How much is 2 + 2?"
I respond - "2 + 2 is 4".
Then there will be two or three other posts that have nothing to do with the question or the answer, then someone else responds.
"Since I have a doctorate in mathematics, I can tell you without worry of being corrected, that two plus two equals four."
And the guy that posted the question will respond.
"Oh thank you thank you thank you, math doctor. I was beginning to doubt that anyone knew the answer to my question. I am so glad that you were here and were able to answer it."
And I sit there and I read this thread, and I think, "Wat 'a bloody 'ell? Hi just hanswered that bleedin' question."
(I've been known to think in a different dialect than I speak)
So as I say, it shouldn't, but that gripes the hell out of me.

I like "thinking in a different dialect". I sing in different languages, but mostly just to my dog.

I also cuss in Lower Slobbovian.
Since very few people can speak it, especially since Al Capp died, I can cuss in front of just about anybody without offending them.

My lovely and very reserved Japanese father-in-law spoke fluent Spanish and cussed in that language like a pro! We'd be out for brunch with all these nice Japanese people and he'd cut loose with a blue streak, which was only understood by him and myself and one waitress at our favorite restaurant. Quite an experience!

I like "thinking in a different dialect". I sing in different languages, but mostly just to my dog. I used to do that, Sparkle. But all it did was to get the ranch dogs around us, howl'n. The Mrs. made me quit. There is a family that is about a 1/4 mile from us that when they get home in the evening, their dogs start barking like crazy. My wife and I look at each other and say, "the Bumpases are home!"

I sing and she just barks.

My canine niece breaks into her own singing by whining and howling whenever she sees me. Such a darling.

No one knows. She's very odd and may have a touch of whippet because she can run like a jet fighter flies, she appears to hover over the earth sometimes. She needs a ton of exercise and gets really spooky if she doesn't get to run enough. She sits on steps like the above pic and also does that on your feet if you stand still. Quite a character!

The shape of her head reminds me of rat terrier, but she's kind of big for that.

I can see some possible Whippet, but from what I can see, the physique may suggest some greyhound attributes as well. We have a full sized dachshund that is half Queensland Heeler. She has the Queensland's coloring and instinct. She's a full sized dachshund that will heel you if you run across the lawn! Funniest thing ever. SO, how much is 2+2 again?

She was feisty, really disliked other big Dogs , and extremely protective near one.
