For me, it's Tony Bennett singing the old tunes in the old 50's way. For my employees it was Manheim Steamroller, 'cause they could dance to the tunes. (Thump-thump!) Last December, driving through East Texas, it became (thank you, RED-RIVER RADIO), the Medieval Babes, cooing out Christmas tunes (wish I could do a link for you guys!) Okay. They ARE babes. But OMG, they can SING! Google "We Three Kings" and you'll understand.
What are your favorite tunes for the season. . . . ??

I usually turn to the Big Band era, but lately I've been playing these.

Both good suggestions. I have an old album from the 60s, with traditionsl tunes from that era. Yes, I still have vynyl albums.
My favorite Christmas song, and one of my all-time favorite songs, is 'The Christmas song by Nat King Cole. His voice is perfect, His enunciation is just fantastic, and the piano is sublime. Takes me back to my youth.

Burl Ives sings the Christmas song I like.
But then, the classic Gabriel's Message, by Sting:
