I once posted a cheesecake recipe here. I was wondering if anybody saw it and tried it.

Cheesecake?
A bar of Philly, a can of Eagle, a teaspoon of vanilla and a teaspoon of lemon juice.
Mix together and pour in a Readycrust.
Stick in the fridge.
Two hours later, enjoy.

The recipe I have - think it was Grandma's - calls that Icebox Cheese Pie.
Only cheesecake I know how to make.

Sounds good to me. Mine needed to be baked, then refrigerated.

I thought you was Southern.
Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk. I think Borden makes it. Comes in a red and white can. There are other brands - Pet also makes it - but Eagle is like Channellock or Crescent Wrench or Kleenex. Don't matter who makes it.
I presume you understood Philly is Philadelphia Brand Cream Cheese? I believe that's a Kraft product.

I've heard that, up north, they mix Eagle with snow, to make snow ice cream.

I've heard that, up north, they mix Eagle with snow, to make snow ice cream. Down South, also. We'd add a dash of vanilla extract, or perhaps a glug of bourbon, to provide a little 'zest' in th bowl.
