I went to Duluth a few days ago, I like to visit that city before or after tourist season because it's much too crowded in the summertime. I like spring visits because the crashing waves throw sea glass and other treasures up on the beach. I was not disappointed, I ended up with 1lb. 8 1/2oz. of metal pieces, ceramic and glass, even bone. I really like the brass safety pin. The wind was straight out of the east so Lake Superior crashed and churned with 6 foot or higher waves the entire time I was there, the lake tried to drag me in a couple of times! Attachment Deleted Metal pieces. At the bottom there is a .22LR casing, all battered. Attachment Deleted Some of the glass. I have more pictures of similar colors. There was a dark greenish-brown piece of glass that looks like a cough lozenge. Attachment Deleted Interesting rocks and bone pieces. I don't know what kinds of bone those are, I hope they're not human.

Bone appear to be from Giant Lake Beaver. Known to patrol the surf on stormy days, waiting to drag off young damsels searching for Sea Glass, which they use as 'bait'.

Well, I can run pretty fast, even in the sand and rocks.

Luckily their speedy egress from the surf is often curtailed by their exposure to the frigid waters of Lake Gitchegumie and their enormous girth, a result of constant gorging on Lake Eels!
