British law: www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1997/5/part/IIf I'm reading this (para 2, insert) correctly, THEY are not outlawed. >any firearm which either has a barrel less than 30 centimetres in length or is less than 60 centimetres in length overall, other than an air weapon, a small-calibre pistol, a muzzle-loading gun or a firearm designed as signalling apparatus< I just can't find where they define "small calibre pistol". Here in the states, if they say, "THIS is illegal", the law will say what "THIS" is -i.e. "Saturday Night Special".
