Alpo, I have been unhappy with the light trigger on the Marlin. I think its too light. I have tried a quick fix by placing a couple of washers between the main spring and its stop plate. This is a trick I learned with M16s, dropping coins in the spring tube. It increase the spring pressure a little. Seems to have worked...a little. Any thoughts?

Dunno. As I've said before, my only knowledge of Marlins comes from listening to and reading others.
Like Glocks and ARs, I don't like the gun, so have no actual experience with them.

I just signed up to a Marlin owners forum. Should get some good information there on the little lever carbine.
