Today, in order to celebrate a milestone passed this past week, I took a full morning off and prepared two batches of hot sauce. No great shake at cooking, it is entertaining to rattle about in the kitchen on occasion, though.
One batch is flavored with a decent tequila; the other with a sweet bourbon. The tasting shall happen in September, just in time for heavy beans and cornbread season.

Sounds interesting. I can't take HOT sauce, but it still sounds interesting.

It's certainly not a heirloom recipe by any means. I found it while emptying a closet up in Mom and Dad's room and thought it might be worth a try. I don't remember their ever preparing spicy sauces, so it's inclusion in a packet of correspondence will remain a mystery.
For the price of a few peppers, a morning's entertainment!
